iciHaiti - Justice : Meeting of Government Commissioners and substitutes 22/10/2016 08:55:13
During the working meeting the Minister reiterated their responsibilities to the public and their duty to work for the good functioning of the judiciary in their respective jurisdictions. Camille Édouard promised strong support to the jurisdictions severely affected by the passage of Matthew and which now require an effective presence for the security of humanitarian convoys and the strengthening of the security device for the next elections. In addition, the Minister has given formal instruction to the heads of prosecutors, to prosecute all those who loot humanitarian convoys. The National Police of Haiti (PNH) has already received instructions to that effect by the Minister. Moreover, the Minister of Justice spoke of the various decisions and measures that have been taken to maintain neutrality among the Government Commissioner and substitutes during the electoral process.
