iciHaiti - Petit-Goâve : Heavy provisional assessment
According to the Mayor Délor Desgranges, the latest provisional toll following the passage of Mathew to Petit-Goâve amount to 32 : 6th section (5), 8th section (5), 7th section (4), 5th section (1), 4th section (2), downtown (1), Vialet (locality nan Béné) (3), Trouchouchou (3), 10th section des Palmes (4), 9th section of Palmes (2) and Allégre (5th section) (2) and 408 wounded for the whole commune.

Partial assessment of houses destroyed in Petit-Goâve, by communal section : 8th section (38 houses destroyed), 7ème section (22), 6th section (39), 5th section (43), 9th section (23), 10th section (17), 12th section (13), 11th section (18), Trouchouchou (more than fifty), locality Fort-royal (l'acul) (13), Chabanne (15), Provence (14), Belle Avenue (8) and Fond Fable (6).

It is estimated to 5,000 the number of damaged houses for the whole of the commune of Petit-Goâve.


As for agriculture, plantations are completely devastated. A very important number of livestock have been washed away.

The roads leading to communal sections are seriously damaged.
