iciHaiti - Social : The BSEIPH at Seminar on Employment of People with Disabilities

The Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) participated in Uruguay, at 3rd Seminar on Employment of People with Disabilities in Ibero-America, organized by the "Organización Iberoamericana de Seguridad Social" in partnership with the "Centro de Formaciòn de la Cooperaciòn Espagñola".

15 countries took part in this activity whose objectives were among others :
1 - Educate staff of public institutions on the importance of the employment of people with disabilities;
2 - Know the major initiatives taken by governments to promote employment of the disabled;
3 - Provide a space for debate and knowledge transfer on employment of disabled people.

The BSEIPH was represented at the seminar by Daworldson Sénélus, Placement Service Manager for people with disabilities, thanks to financial contributions from the Spanish Technical Cooperation Agency in Haiti and the World Bank.
