New opportunities with Citibank
The Ministry of Economy and Finance has been visited by officials of one of the largest U.S. banks, Citibank, based in Haiti for 42 years. This visit allowed Citibank to renew its commitment to support the Government of Haiti in developing suitable financial products to promote investment, strengthen the economic power of the middle class and expand access to credit mechanisms, specially adapted to the Haitian market.

Improving access to primary schools
On Thursday, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Korean Ambassador, Dong-sil Park, proceeded to the inauguration ceremony of the Project for Strengthening access to primary schools in Haiti.

Brazilian delegation visits the IFORTH
Thursday, November 21, 2013, Ms. Karine Condé, Director of the Office of Tourism South, met a Brazilian delegation "MISSION SENAC" (Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial) Ms. Marie Véline Aly, the chargée de mission of the Ministry of Tourism and executives of the Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Training (IFORHT). Discussions were held around the training of supervisors ; of Curriculum vitae of proposed courses, a presentation of training program of students of the institute and a tour of the inventory was also on the program.
