Cottages and pottery workshop in Milot
Wednesday, Stéphanie B. Villedrouin met Ms. Monique Rosann and Carine Bouchereau of the Institute for the Protection of National Heritage (ISPAN) around the implementation of a project of cottages and the establishment of a pottery workshop in Milot.

First office of the ONI in the diaspora before the end of 2013
Jean Baptiste Saint-Cyr, Director of the National Identification Office (ONI) announced that by the end of the year, the ONI would inaugurate its first office in the Diaspora, on the island of Turk and Caicos where resides a large Haitian community. Other cities such as Santo Domingo and New York should also receive ONI offices. Ultimately, the ONI considering having a registry office in each Haitian consulates worldwide.

3,800 victims of fake visa scam
Wednesday, Réginald Delva, the Secretary of State announced that two forgers, that issued fake visas on behalf of the Embassies, were arrested Tuesday by the intervention of the Government Commissioner, Francisco René. These individuals arrested in possession of 123 passports have scammed more than 3,800 people who each paid U.S. $ 500 for a visa to allow them to travel to the U.S., but none of them, was able to travel with these false documents.

Launch of the 5th national census
Wednesday, Wilson Laleau, Minister of Economy and Finance, also Chairman of the National Committee of the Census proceeded to the launch of the 5th General Census of Population and Housing "The last national census conducted in Haiti, back to 2003.
