Compulsory foreign declaration within 24 hours...
A notice signed by Claude Raymond Jr., Director of Immigration and Emigration and approved by Hertz Obas, Ing. MGP. Director General of the Ministry of Interior, recalls that the hotel must report the presence of foreign in their establishment "The Directorate of Immigration and Emigration reminds the hoteliers, responsible guesthouses as well as any individual, the obligation imposed on them under Section 58 of the Act of 19 September 1953 on Foreigners to notify the office of Immigration and the Office of the Police within within 24 hours of the arrival of this foreigner. Any violation of this provision will be prosecuted and punished according to law."

200,000 people in camps in 2014...
In the last report of the Office of Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs of the United Nations (OCHA) in Haiti, the UN office estimated that approximately 200,000 people will still living in displacement camps in Haiti in 2014. OCHA to establish its estimate takes into account the humanitarian situation in August 2013 where 71,000 families were still living in 352 camps across the country.
