Haiti - News : Some news here and there... 01/08/2013 15:37:45 The Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) indicates that the Haitian diaspora back to the country to participate in the festivities of the carnival of flowers, left satisfied with the atmosphere it experienced during those three days. At the booth shared by the MHAVE and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our compatriots were able to follow very closely every detail and the finest performances of the groups parading along the route. France has a moral debt to Haiti ! Wednesday, French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, stressed after a meeting of the Interministerial Committee for International Cooperation and Development (CICID) that Haiti benefit from special assistance because of its historical relationship with France "[...] there is Haiti, that we want to help particularly, so the historical relationship that we have with this country, requires this solidarity support, we have somewhat a moral debt to Haiti." Double inauguration The Working Group for Stabilization and Reconstruction (GTSR/START) of the Canadian Embassy in Haiti, in cooperation with the General Directorate of National Police of Haiti (PNH), will inaugurate the naval base of the PNH, in the town of Les Cayes Tuesday, August 6 to the marine base located in Les Cayes Street of quai (wharf of Les Cayes) and Friday, August 9 at the inauguration of the police station of Delmas 33. Congratulations to the dynamism of BSEIPH ! Following the approaches of the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, forty people with disabilities participated in the Carnival parade of flowers 28 to 30 July 2013 in order to raise public awareness of disability issues in Haiti.
