Vice Rector of the UEH, reversed its decision
"With dignity and courage, I announced to the community that withdrawal was done of the decision to increase tuition fees, as well as their deadline. Fees remain as they were, and the deadline for registration will allow all candidates to have the opportunity to participate in contests. Also, the competition will only take place after the results of baccalaureate, as was done before," indicates Jean Poincy, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the State University of Haiti.

Launch of the Program "Kore Moun Andikape"

Workshops on prolonged pretrial detention
Peace and Justice of Port-au-Prince announces the organization of a series of workshops in the the West department, under the citizen forum program for judicial reform, organized around the theme "Yon chèn penal efikas kote yo konbat enpinite ak koripsyon epi respekte dwa moun". These workshops will allow to raise the issue of prolonged pretrial detention as a violation of rights. This series of 19 workshops is organized in partnership with the Haitian Justice Observatory and the Ecumenical Center for Human Rights.

17 km of road intercommunal...
Friday in Descotieres, Thomas Jacques, Minister of Agriculture, accompanied by the Deputy of Gros Morne, Mr. Fritz Chery, has officially launched of construction work of the intercommunal road linking Gros-Morne to Terre-Neuve through Descotieres. A budget of 12 million gourdes be used to construct about 17 kilometers road. The idea is to use the limited resources to reach maximum results, according to the Minister Jacques.
