Launch of the first mining forum in Haiti

Monday, June 3, the Council of Economic and Social Development (CDES), in partnership with the Ministries of Economy and Finance and of Public Works, will launch the first mining forum in Haiti.

The Prime Minister met the ECOSOC

On Thursday, thePrime Minister Laurent Lamothe attended a meeting with the Ad Hoc Advisory Group, of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). The Government has requested the cooperation of the UN to help it to achieve social programs that enhance the quality of life of Haitians.

Massive investment in popular neighborhoods

On Friday, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe met with the Ministers of Labour and Social Affairs, Interior and Local Authorities and several mayors. The Prime Minister expressed his willingness to invest heavily in popular neighborhoods "The town hall will now be more involved in the implementation of the program 'Ede pèp'," indicated the Head of Government.
