NOTICE - EDH billing problem
The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) notify its customers that in the current month, some of its customers will receive at least two periods of combined invoices. As you probably noticed, our new billing system presents various problems, including the most recent, the inability to issue most of the bills of February 2013. The EDH deeply regrets these dysfunctions and ensures its customers that all measures have been implemented to remedy this situation and receive your payments in the shortest possible time.

Haiti confirms its participation in CARIFESTA
Josette Darguste, the Minister of Culture, has confirmed the participation of Haiti in the 11th edition of the Festival of Arts of the Caribbean (CARIFESTA) during its participation in the 19th Forum of Ministers of Culture and heads of Cultural Policies in Latin America and the Caribbean. The festival will take place from 16 to 25 August under the theme "the Culture for Development" will welcome artists multi-disciplinary from thirty countries.

First shipment from the Port of Cap-Haitien
Wednesday, the Korean company S&H SA installed at Parc Caracol conducted its first expedition [5 containers, products of textile assembly] towards the United States from the Port of Cap-Haïtien. 51st World Theatre Day
