Movie project in Haiti At the Ministry of Culture, a working meeting was held this week around the production of the film adaptation of the novel "Bicentenaire" of the writer Lionel Trouillot. Filmmaker and actor François Marthouret, accompanied by his assistant, Rebecca Marthouret, of the writer Lionel Trouillot and of director Jean Lhérisson, have sought the assistance of the Ministry of Culture as part of this movie to be shot in Haiti with Haitian actors. Josette Darguste, the Minister of Culture welcomed favorably this project from the Film Society Sequoia and promised the support of the Ministry. Launch of the work of Land of Gabions Friday, Magalie Racine, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, participated in the launch in Les Cayes of the rehabilitation works of the Land of Gabions. Mrs. Racine speaking at the ceremony, recalled the importance that grant the Administration Martelly/Lamothe to the construction and rehabilitation of infrastructure throughout the country. Laurent Lamothe met his counterpart of Turks and Caicos Saturday, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, met with his counterpart Dr. Rufus Ewing of Turks and Caicos, during which he addressed, among other problems to which the Haitian community are faced. The two Heads of Government agreed to work together to boost the tourism sector in their respective countries and are committed to developed a partnership aimed at ensure a better bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both economies.
