Evaluation of staff of the Ministry of Communication

On Friday, the Ministry of Communications has completed the evaluation process of its employees. In the concern to redress the organizational structure of the institution and restore the productivity of services, the new team at the head of the Ministry presented an action plan with short-term immediate objective ; strengthen inter-state communication, rally local media national and international to a pro-active movement of national communication and straighten the image of the Ministry. This revitalization of staff falls within the framework of institutional strengthening advocated by the Government in order to make a real reform of the State.

40.000 seedlings for Carnival 2013

The Minister of Culture calls for the respect of the theme of National Carnival 2013, to enable the public to think carefully about the issue of deforestation, to this end, more than 40,000 seedlings will be distributed by the Ministry of Environment as part of Carnival at Cap-Haitien.

Monument in memory of law professionals

Friday, Me Carlos Hercules, President of the Bars Federation of Haiti (FBH), proceeded to the inauguration of a memorial at the site of the Palace of Justice in Port-au-Prince. This monument is dedicated to law professionals disappeared during the earthquake of January 2010, including those who perished in the collapse of the courthouse. On this occasion, a requiem mass was sung by Mgr. Pierre André Pierre, at Notre Dame de Fatima Church.

Propaedeutic classes at the Faculty of Law of Cap Haitien

For the first time since its existence, the Faculty of Law, Economics and Management of Cap-Haitien, a unit of the State University of Haiti, opened for the 2012-2013 academic year, three classes propaedeutic in the following fields: Economics, Management and Law. Certain subjects essential are taught such as: French, mathematics, methodology, history of Haiti, the principles of economics, principles of management... These classes have started since mid-January 2013.
