50 million euros in annual aid from Germany

Klaus Peter Shick, Ambassador of Germany to Port-au-Prince, recalled that during the last few months more than 47 million euro had been mobilized in several sectors including energy and agricultural recovery. The renovation of several power stations to Péligre are among the main projects of the German cooperation. More than 10 million eurosare allocated to this project, which will improve the production of hydroelectric power. Should work started in early 2013.
