Tuesday of Book, schedule change
The faithful lovers of the "Tuesdays of Book" of the National Directorate of Book DNL will have to accustom to the new schedule proposed by the DNL since the reopening of classes. The Minister of Culture in Belgium
Mario Dupuy, Minister of Culture, participates the 17 and 18 October, to Brussel (Belgium), at a meeting of Culture Ministers of the member countries of the ACP-EU [African, Caribbean and Pacific together with European Union]. The meeting aims to take stock of the implementation of recommendations of previous conferences, and also highlight the potential of cultural industries to stimulate socio-economic development in ACP countries.

Inauguration of schools of Madrin and of Godin
The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training, has inaugurated earlier this week, the new buildings of National Schools of Madrin and Godin, in the town of Gonaives. The U.S. Government has funded the work to the tune of $ 1.1 million. The Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) has donated equipment and the materials necessary for the functioning of these two fundamental schools.
