2 Secretaries of State removed from office
The Office of Communication of the Presidency, informed us that by decision of the Prime Minister and approved by the President of the Republic, the citizens Mathias Lauréus and Jean Gérald Brutus, respectively Secretary of State for Local Authorities and Secretary of State for Trade, have been relieved of their duties.

Opening of the airport of Cap-Haitien on October 15
During the 6th Council of Government held this week, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe announced that the Cap-Haitien Airport will be open to international flights on October 15. Accordingly and to allow the company to complete the work on the runway, the airport will be closed from Saturday 22 to Tuesday 25 September 2012.

New leaders to the CSCCA
Nonie H. Mathieu and Gerda B. Etienne were elected this week, President and Vice-President of the Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSCCA). Nonie H. Mathieu (second term as President) was elected by 5 votes on 8 Gerda B. Etienne (first terms) was elected by 6 votes on 8. The installation of this new Council is scheduled for the first Monday of October 2012 date of reopening of the courts.

3rd appointment missed
For the third time, the Prime Minister was obligated to postpone an invitation to the Lower House. On Friday, the Prime Minister could not appear before the Commission Ethics and Anti-corruption of the lower house, due to his departure on the same day for the United States where he will attend the 67th UN General Assembly and to a meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). This new deferral due to the Agenda, did not please at all to the Deputy Sadrac Dieudonné, Président of this Commission.

New Departmental Delegate of South
The Office of Communication of the Presidency informed us that by Presidential Decree, the citizen Serge Chéry was appointed Departmental Delegate of the South.
