The Consul General of Haiti in Atlanta, Gandy Thomas paid a visit this Wednesday 1st August to Mgr Wilton D. Gregory the Archbishop of Atlanta. The Haitian community is amplifying every day in Georgia, the Consul has emphasized on the possibility of having Masses in Creole in the principal churches receiving the community such as St Andrews, St Peter and Paul, St Jhon etc... Moreover, the Consul invited the Archbishop to celebrate the Mass of January 1, 2013 marking the celebration of Haitian independence. Didier Le Bret danced in the Carnival of Flowers... The Ambassador of France Didier Le Bret and a team of European diplomats who participated in the walking bands by strolling and dancing during the Carnival of Flowers said he was "fully satisfied". The Mexican private sector finance a vocational school Friday, the Mexican Ambassador to Haiti Luis Manuel Lopez, announced the construction of a vocational school, funded by the Mexican private sector, in the town of Aquin. This professional will provide in less than a year, courses in electrical, plumbing, maid etc... According to the Mexican diplomat, this school will allow young people to take training in order to work in the resorts to be built in the region. Workshop of training-sharing in Entrepreneurship The Centre of Entrepreneurship and Leadership in Haiti (Cedel - Haiti), recently organized a workshop of training-sharing in entrepreneurship. According to Rock André, the Executive Director, this workshop enabled young people to meet other young entrepreneurs.
