New poetry book of JBA Sunday, July 15, about a thousand people have gathered to celebrate the 59th anniversary of former President Jean Bertrand Aristide who was absent at this celebration. Ranking of Haitian banks According to statistics from the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) Unibank ranks first in market share with more than 29.09% of total assets of the banking system, 31.50% of gross loans, 29.30% of total deposits and 29.73% of deposits in U.S. dollars. The Banque Nationale de Credit (BNC), property of the Haitian state, is in second place [since March 31, 2012] with more than 26.82% of total assets of the banking system, 27.14% of total deposits and 29.25% of deposits in U.S. dollars. Sogebank occupies the third position. These 3 banks only, together hold 82.63% of assets, give 72.78% of gross loans, capturing 83.13% of total deposits whose 84.16% of deposits denominated in U.S. dollars. Capital Bank, Scotia Bank, Citi Bank, Sogebel, BPH and BUH share the rest of the market... Overview of the tour of Racine Mapou de Azor After his performance at the patronal feast of Saut d'Eau, Mapou de Azor will tour in at least five cities : July 26 in Anse à Pitre - August 11 in Marchand Dessaline, 17/20 August to Gelée, August 28 in St Louis du Sud, September 3 in Cavaillon.
