3 new Vice-delegates in the South East
3 new Vice-delegates for the Department of South-East Joseph Ponyon (town of Bainet), Jean Elson (town of Jacmel) and Emanord Deronette (town of Belle-Anse) have been installed this Friday.

New dairy technologies
The Ministry of Agriculture has organized, this week a technical workshop on the new dairy technologies. This meeting allowed the participants (FAO, CROSE, FENAPWOLA, VETERIMED) each to present their approach on the production and dairy processing. Several of them, including VETERIMED have argued for a improvement of our techniques and believe that we must be more open to new technologies by leaving especially aside the old practices such as the use of gallons as storage... As for the refining center, it will be necessary to take less time for the manufacture of cheese just like many countries in Africa.

Internship program in management of local authorities
As part of its approach of decentralization community-based "Katye Poze Pam" (KPP), of the Ministry of Interior organizes a "Internship program in management of local authorities," between 1 August and 31 October, in the 140 municipalities of the Republic. The Ministry invites the universities and public and private faculties to offer each, July 20 at the latest, 10 to 20 graduating students, among the best for this activity, while respecting the 30% quota of female presence. Participation requirements are indicated in the Terms of Reference sent to the administrations of higher education institutions concerned.

One million gourdes diverted to EDH
Duckens Raphael, President of the Union of Electricity of Haiti confirmed on a radio station of the capital, that more than one million gourdes were diverted from the pension fund of the company. An investigation is underway to find the person responsible, according to the President of the Union.
