The Culture Minister met the Ambassador of France
The Minister of Culture, Mario Dupuy received this week Didier Le Bret, Ambassador of France in Haiti. The two men discussed various issues relating to cooperation in the artistic and cultural fields, including the Francophonie, film and Haitian heritage. The Minister spoke about the will of the Haitian Government to transform the area of ​​the Champs de Mars in a cultural village. A ultra-modern "green" school in Bel-Air
"L'Ecole du Bel-Air" is currently under construction in the capital, Port-au-Prince, hanks to the Foundation Edeyo and support of Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation, among others. Designed by Architects for Humanity, the new school is expected to be autonomous and independent of city services. The structure has 20 classrooms, an auditorium, computer lab, administrative offices, a medical clinic, fruit and vegetable gardens as well as chicken coops for poultry and eggs. The building will also have solar energy, a biofuel generator, a water catchment and filtration system and composting toilets. The school plans to have about 300 students.

Donation of 150 tons of dehydrated food
As part of its efforts to feed people who are vulnerable and at risk nutritionally in Haiti, Batey Relief Alliance (BRA) has secured through the International Food Relief Partnership (IFRP) of USAID the funding of 50 tons metric of dehydrated food (Breedlove Harvest Lentil Pro - Product code 404)o be distributed in collaboration with NGOs based in Haiti Partners in Health (PIH) to 12,800 beneficiaries affected by the earthquake/cholera living in the Central Plateau of Haiti over a period of 12 months.
