The Consul of Haiti Thomas Gandy meets with Haitian taxi drivers
As part of the dynamics of the Business diplomacy advocated by the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, the Consul General of Haiti in Atlanta, Gandy Thomas performs a two-day visit, from May 8 to 10, 2012, in New Orleans to meet with members of the Association of Taxi Drivers Haitians of the zone. The Consul will use this meeting to distribute stickers "Haiti is Open for Business" and invite them to be the real sellers of an image of Haiti in full reconstruction and growing towards development.

Technology Symposium of Steel Construction
The symposium organized by the Canadian firm of Steel Construction, established in Haiti, WE-Supreme Group has brought together on Tuesday May 8 at the Karibe Convention Center, about two hundred participants. This symposium was designed to share technologies, especially on steel construction and also to bring together Haitian entrepreneurs, government officials, Haitian engineers and architects, but also people from academia, to reflect together on opportunities to promote this type of construction in Haiti. WE-Supreme Group has announced the construction of a factory in Haiti specialized in the manufacture of steel structures, which could create about 500 jobs and whose early stages of construction are expected in about 3 months.

2.272 additional candidates for the 24th Police Promotion
