Bill on the Control of the Nationality
Tuesday, the Deputy Jean Tholbert Alexis, said he was preparing to to submit to Parliament a bill on the issue of the Nationality in Haiti. This bill called "control of the Nationality" will help resolve once and for all this problem, said the deputy who also promised a bill on the issue of residence in the country.

New Director of Customs in Miragoâne
Vladimir Thermilus was installed as Director of Customs to Miragoâne. He replaces to this position, the highly controversial Jean Edouard Rivière, transferred about six months after taking office. The newcomer is considered as a man of dialogue that promises to work with all sectors and enable customs of Miragoâne to finally play ts role in the national economy.

Training in Web development and Web design
The Haitian company, Suntel SA signed last week with the American organization based in California WOW, an agreement for the training of young people in Haiti in Web development and Web design. Nearly 200 young people will have access to the same level of training than in the U.S. and will be certified by the organization. WOW is a non-profit professional association dedicated to supporting individuals and organizations who create, manage or market web sites.

The Minustah equips the financial controllers in Les Cayes
As part of a Quick Impact Project (QIP), the Miniustah has delivered in the presence of local authorities, a lot of materials worth 679,450 gourdes [17,000 U.S. dollars] to equip the office of the Territorial Financial Controllers of Les Cayes. These are office equipment and computer equipment designed to enable financial controllers to be provided with working tools, necessary for the proper performance of their duties. Charles Messier, the Head of Regional Office South of the Minustah, recalled the role "significant of financial controllers for the smooth running of town halls," adding that they had received training as part of support activities of the Mission to the institutions of the Haitian state.
