The relations ALBA-Haiti concerns the Foreign Affairs Committee to Washington
While the President Martelly was on official travel to Venezuela in search of new funds, in U.S. Congress, Washington DC, the Senator Simon Dieuseul Desras, President of the Haitian Senate, said he learned the concern of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, on the relationship between Haiti and the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA), a structure that opposed to the United States... The Senator Desras stated that, even if Haiti needed money "we can not accept funds from any source to risk jeopardizing our democratic gains and disrupt relations in the Americas." New Municipal Palace to Fond-des-Nègres
The Minister of Interior, Me Thierry Mayard-Paul, works hard to bring public services in all departments and municipalities in the country. Visit to UQTR of Secretary of State for Higher Education of Haiti
The University of Quebec to Trois-Rivieres (UQTR) was visited by a Haitian delegation headed by Jean-Claude Francis, Secretary of State for Higher Education. The Treasury provides $11 million U.S. dollars to private schools
