As part of the fight against noise pollution and disturbance of public order, the Haitian National Police (PNH), through the Departmental Directorate of the North (DDN), seized more than a hundred motorcycle mufflers and loudspeakers in Haut du Cap (North Department).

This measure is taken in order to reduce noise pollution in accordance with the requirements of Haitian laws aimed at preventing and repressing offenses against public order.

It should be recalled that according to the law of November 29, 1994, establishing the creation, organization and operation of the Haitian National Police (PNH), the Police Institution is responsible for maintaining public order and enforcing laws regarding disturbances of public order.
