iciHaiti - Statistics : National Ambulance Center Report (December 2024) 02/02/2025 08:53:08 797 cases were treated by the National Ambulance Center (CAN) in December 2024. Obstetric emergencies (24.47%), various conditions (15.81%), transfers (15.18%) were the three most important treatments. Number and types of interventions : 79 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19); 8 suspected cases of cholera 97 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies); 195 obstetric emergencies; 75 public road accidents; 121 transfers (referrals and laboratory tests); 29 traumas (injuries and fractures of varying degrees); 43 gunshot wounds; 18 stab wounds; 2 cases of burns; 130 various ailments (malaise, diarrhea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc...) Of the 797 cases treated by the CAN : 519 interventions took place in the West, 115 in the Artibonite, 41 in the North-West, 35 in the South-East, 27 in the North, 21 in the South, 15 in the North-East, 13 in the Nippes, 8 in the Center and 3 in the Grand'Anse.
