iciHaiti - Security : Curfew in effect in Kenscoff
As part of efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the population of Kenscoff, the following measures have been adopted and came into effect on Saturday, January 25, 2025 :

Suspension of outdoor cultural activities :
All outdoor cultural and recreational activities bringing together a high concentration of people are prohibited throughout the municipal territory until further notice;

Ban on motorcycle traffic :
Motorcycle traffic is strictly prohibited between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.;

Limited opening hours of establishments :
Clubs, shops and bars must cease all activity from 9:00 p.m.

Requirement of identity documents :
Any person traveling on the municipal territory must have a valid identity document. Checks will be carried out by the police;

Call for citizen vigilance :
The Town Hall encourages all citizens to remain vigilant and mobilized to support the authorities in their security actions.

Curfew :
A curfew is in place throughout the municipal territory from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Only vehicles of the police, judicial, municipal authorities and ambulances are authorized to circulate during this period.

The Kenscoff Town Hall firmly believes that together, with solidarity and discipline, we will be able to overcome this difficult period and build a safer and more peaceful municipality. The Kenscoff Town Hall asks the police and judicial authorities to ensure the strict application of these measures.
