iciHaiti - Football : Important meeting with D1 Clubs
The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) held a videoconference meeting with the presidents of the D1 clubs to discuss two key points : the organization of a special championship to designate Haitian representatives to the competitions of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Associations (CONCACAF) and the draft statutes of the Federation.

Points discussed :
Correspondence from Concacaf :
Obligation to organize a special competition under penalty of losing places in the regional Champions League;
Response from the FHF :
Need to consult the clubs before any decision;
Participation criteria :
Promotion of clubs meeting Concacaf licensing requirements;
Statutes Review Process :
Setting a deadline for clubs to submit their final comments on the draft.

Decisions and perspectives :
Organization of the Special Competition :
A commission composed of neutral members will be responsible for managing this competition scheduled between February and May 2025. It will be reserved for D1 clubs that have met Concacaf’s licensing criteria.
Composition of the Commission :
Following the refusal of club managers to sit, the Commission will be composed exclusively of external members appointed by the FHF.
Statutes Review :
Clubs have until February 3rd, 2025 to submit their comments. These statutes must come into force before the launch of the electoral process that will result in the election of an executive committee.

Financial challenge :
The mobilization of the necessary resources remains a priority in order to ensure the smooth running of the competition. The FHF, aware of the importance of these issues, reaffirms its commitment to work closely with all stakeholders to preserve and promote the interests of Haitian football at the national and regional levels.
