The Haiti Women Street Football League (WSFL), dedicated to the promotion and development of women's football in Haiti, has announced the launch of its first women's street football tournament, which will take place from Saturday, January 18 to Saturday, March 8, 2025.

This tournament represents an exceptional opportunity for girls and women of all ages and social backgrounds to engage in a structured and competitive sporting practice.

For this first edition, the league is focusing its efforts on Port-au-Prince, but aims to expand nationally by 2026. Steps are planned to include other regions such as Cap-Haitien and Les Cayes, where many talents remain to be discovered.

Six teams will compete in two groups this year to win the prestigious title of Champions of the Haiti WSFL League. During a draw held at the Brazil-Haiti Cultural Center, the first and second leg matches were determined and the players were divided into two Groups :

Group 1 :
FC Durmonay (Delmas 33, Gérald Bataille)
Aigle Brillant AC (Turgeau)
ADJ FC

Group 2 :
Shelcy FC (Carrefour Feuilles)
FC Girlsquad (Delmas 75)
Perfection FC (Dezermite)

To increase the visibility of women's football, the first leg matches will be held at Place Boyer, in the heart of Pétion-Ville. The second leg matches will take place at the Ayiti Chéri Gymnasium.

The matches will be broadcast live on TikTok, via their page which brings together more than 80,000 subscribers thanks to the valuable support of the Ligue des Jeunes de Clercine (LFJC).

The street football league is a friendly competition aimed at bringing together football fans from all walks of life and promoting the values ​​of solidarity, fair play and mutual respect that characterize this sport.

- There is no offside.
- If the ball goes out and then comes back out of the field by an element other than a human, then the game continues.
- Penalties are taken from midfield.
- The restart after a goal is taken from the goal.
- The rules for corners and going out of the field are like in football except that the restarts are taken by hand.
- A restart after going out of play is done like in football.
- You must also be fair play and respect the other players, but also respect these rules...
