The Press and Public Relations Coordination of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announces that this Friday, January 10, 2025 at 9:00 a.m., the graduation ceremony of the 34th promotion of the PNH will take place at the National Police School on the Route de Frères.

After 6 months of intensive training, approximately 700 aspiring police officers will receive their diploma before officially joining the ranks of the PNH and engaging in the fight against insecurity.

According to Divisional Commissioner Michel-Ange Louis Jeune, Spokesperson for the PNH, "[...] these new police officers will be deployed mainly in specialized units engaged in the field in the fight against armed groups."

These 700 new police officers will strengthen the operational capacity of the PNH in the face of the rise of gangs.
