All this must stop. The task of change is immense, but it is not insurmountable. The courage of our young people and our public agents, the resilience of our women, the creativity of our entrepreneurs and the faith of our communities are the pillars on which we must build the hope of a new country. In this period of transition, as we face a complex and unprecedented crisis, I want to be clear : we have no choice but to unite to rebuild, reinvent and reinvigorate the Nation that we all love. We must enter the new year carrying within us this deep conviction : Haiti is much greater than its challenges. With the CEP installed, the National Security Council (CNS) created, the police forces strengthened, determined and better equipped, all measures are taken for a return to democratic order and for the restoration of stability, security, prosperity and social justice. To all Haitian families, especially the poorest, I wish a year of peace, health, success and solidarity. May 2025 be for us the year of the seeds of lasting change. We will overcome our demons and lay the foundations of a Haiti that we can all be proud to pass on to future generations." IH/ iciHaiti
