On the evening of Monday, December 30, 2024, part of the facilities of the Haytrac Company, which specializes in the distribution of industrial equipment and heavy machinery, located on the airport road, was vandalized and looted by heavily armed individuals.

According to testimonies, the looters stole, among other things, a truck carrying 4 industrial generators and looted the HAYTRAC premises of all the valuable equipment they could find and take away... leaving behind vandalized facilities...

No official estimate of the losses and damage has been communicated. The company's managers are working to assess the damage and take inventory of the theft, while strengthening security measures on the site. At the same time, the Police have opened an investigation.

This looting worries other companies in the area, which is now under threat from armed gangs.
