Deputy Inspector General of the Administrative Police Service Noor Gabow, a highly respected officer with 30 years of experience, has been appointed Consul General in Haiti. The announcement, made on Friday, December 20, 2024, during a series of high-level appointments to senior positions in the executive cabinet of Kenyan President William Ruto and other key state agencies. Gabow’s appointment to Haiti is seen as strategic, given Kenya’s leadership in the ongoing security mission in Haiti.
