iciHaiti - CEP : Evaluation tour of electoral structures and infrastructures
Members of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), accompanied by technical teams, assessed the decentralized structures and electoral infrastructure in the departments of the North, North-East, Center and Upper-Artibonite during a tour.

The electoral advisers, on site, took advantage of their tour to conduct an inventory of the Departmental Electoral Offices (BED) and the Communal Electoral Offices (BEC).

They also conducted an assessment of the physical condition of the buildings as well as the available equipment and the needs to operate these structures.

The data collected will guide the CEP in its budget forecasts and decision-making aimed at strengthening the decentralized structures, to make them able to effectively fulfill their mission in the different regions of the country.

The CEP also planned to revitalize the staff of the BED and BEC in view of the referendum and general elections.

The Provisional Electoral Council is committed to conducting the referendum and electoral processes in complete independence, impartiality and inclusiveness.
