Summary of measures and facts :

- Arrest on June 4, hearing and incarceration of 11 employees by the judicial authorities of the North;

- Release of two of them on June 7;

- Letter and file sent to UNESCO to inform it of the theft and request INTERPOL's participation;

- Letter and file sent to the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police to request INTERPOL's participation through the Haitian National Police (PNH);

- Ongoing investigation by the PNH.

ISPAN, tirelessly for months, has requested the assistance of the Ministry of Culture, which, without interfering in the ongoing investigation, has taken the necessary steps with the judicial authorities, which led to the release on December 6, 2024, of 4 of the institution's 9 employees who were still incarcerated as part of the investigation and who were cleared of all suspicion.
