iciHaiti - Diplomacy : The new Chancellor hailed by the diplomatic corps
On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Jean-Victor Harvel Jean-Baptiste, the Minister of Foreign Affairs received greetings from the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Haiti, in the presence of the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and the Directors General of the Ministry.

During this meeting, the Minister expressed his gratitude for the support of international partners and recalled the priorities of the transition : restoring public security, organizing free elections in 2025, and ensuring the installation of an elected President on February 7, 2026.

"The Haitian people aspire to profound change, based on security and prosperity. This change requires strengthened international cooperation," declared Chancellor Jean-Baptiste.

This meeting served to reaffirm Haiti's commitment to promoting active diplomacy in the service of stability and development.
