iciHaiti - NOTICE : Major problem in part of the DINEPA water distribution network
The National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA) through the Office of Drinking Water Services of the Metropolitan Area of Port-au-Prince (CTE-RMPP), informs the general public, and all its subscribers in particular, that it is facing a major problem in part of its water distribution network.

Indeed, all the water pumping stations in the Clercine area (commune of Tabarre) have stopped operating due to lack of fuel. This problem is the result of the insecurity that is disrupting the activities of the Varreux oil terminal. Despite all the fuel orders placed since Friday, November 15 with the usual suppliers, no deliveries have been made so far.

This situation affects the distribution of water in several areas, such as : Maïs-Gaté, Route de l’aéroport, Clercine and part of the commune of Delmas (places concerned: Delmas 19, 27, 29, 34, etc...)

DINEPA would like to assure all its subscribers that it is working tirelessly to resolve this problem as soon as possible.
