iciHaiti - Statistics : National Ambulance Center Report (September 2024)
The National Ambulance Center (CAN) has communicated to us its summary statistical report of the pre-hospital care of the various emergency cases carried out during the month of September 2024.

754 cases were treated by the National Ambulance Center (CAN) in September 2024 (+0.004% compared to the previous month (751) https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-43275-icihaiti-statistics-national-ambulance-center-report-august-2024.html . Obstetric emergencies (31.43%), transfers (22.94%), various conditions (15.25%) and were the three most important treatments.

Number and types of interventions :
46 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19);
60 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies);
237 obstetric emergencies;
57 road accidents;
173 transfers (referrals and laboratory tests);
25 traumas (wounds & fractures of varying degrees);
27 gunshot wounds;
4 stab wounds;
10 cases of burns
115 various conditions (malaise, diarrhea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc....)

Of the 754 cases handled by the CAN : 381 interventions took place in the West, 130 in the Artibonite, 53 in the Southeast, 26 in the Northwest, 30 in the Northeast, 57 in the North, 34 in Nippes, 30 in the South and 13 in Grand’Anse.
