iciHaiti - Education : Inauguration of two new national schools

Antoine Augustin, the Minister of National Education, proceeded last week to the inauguration of the buildings of the National Mixed School of Roy, in the 2nd communal section of Bois-de-Lance (Ranquitte), then that of the National School of Mathador, in the 3rd communal section of Dondon, both located in the Nord department.

"The construction of these two schools turns out to be gains for the communal sections of Bois-de-Lance and Mathador," underlined Jean Ronald Joseph, Director General of the National Education Fund (FNE), which financed the construction of these two new school infrastructures.

For the National Mixed School of Roy, Jean Ronald Joseph recalled that the Fund had spent more than 51.5 million Gourdes (51,540,344.50 Gdes). This project included the construction of 12 classrooms, including 3 for preschool, an administrative space and a reservoir with a capacity of 10,000 gallons of water. While for the National School of Mathador (Dondon), the financial envelope was of the order of a little more than 52.2 million (52,277,137.64 Gdes) for an infrastructure of the same size including the same components.

National School of Mathador, in the 3rd communal section of (Dondon, North).
