The Office of the United Nations Youth Organization of Africa in Haiti (BOJNUAH) takes note and condemns in the strongest terms the decision of Dominican President Luis Abinader, who ordered the immediate execution of an operation aimed at repatriating to Haiti each week up to 10,000 Haitians in an irregular migratory situation https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-43334-haiti-flashrepatriation-of-10-000-haitians-per-week-the-great-hunt-has-begun-in-the-dominican-rep.html

In addition, BOJNUAH is convinced that the Responsibility of States also obliges Haiti to assist its nationals in an irregular situation in foreign territory and also to take the necessary and adequate measures to resolve Haiti's migratory problems definitively.

"Political stability, security, economic growth and job creation are elements of the solution, as well as a certain idea of the Republic of Haiti, its mission, its role and its place in the world. It is the responsibility of Haiti and of political and economic leaders to offer well-being options to Haitian citizens so that illegal or legal immigration is not the first choice of citizens, young and old, and to reintegrate our deportees from the neighboring republic and in other regions of the world."
