iciHaïti - FAES : Three-week intensive training on TOM PORTAILS software
The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) officially launched, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, a three-week intensive training on the use of TOM PORTAILS software. This initiative, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), aims to strengthen the technical and financial management of the institution.

Led by Issiaka Diarra, representative of "FIM Développement Informatique" and the DISS Monitoring System, this training is crucial to improve the transparency and justification of funds, vital aspects to strengthen the confidence of financial partners, including the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) according to FAES officials.

Originally from West Africa, Mr. Diarra agreed to travel to Haiti despite the difficult security conditions. His expertise covers a wide range of skills in the implementation and management of complex software, including TOM PORTAILS, a key tool for human resources and financial management at FAES.

The objective of this training is to enable FAES teams to better master the advanced features of the TOM PORTAILS and PANEX PAIE software, to optimize project management and ensure greater efficiency in the use of resources. The training will conclude with an assessment of the skills acquired.

Despite a difficult context, FAES continues to innovate to meet the needs of disadvantaged communities. This training demonstrates the institution's commitment to improving its management skills and consolidating its mission of supporting vulnerable populations through concrete and sustainable projects.
