The Ministry of National Education intends to improve the quality of the school offer. Augustin Antoine, the Minister of Education recalls that four new subjects have been developed in the new curriculum of the third cycle of fundamental education : Education in technology and productive activities (ETAP), Aesthetic and artistic education (EEA), Physical and sports education (EPS) and Education for citizenship (EC), aim to modernize education and better prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century.

These 4 subjects aim to enrich the educational experience of students and prepare them to become responsible and engaged citizens. In this perspective, it is essential that teachers are qualified, properly trained, for the implementation of this ministerial provision.

To this end, Minister Antoine is launching a call for expressions of interest to teachers and professionals with skills for teaching these new subjects.

As the reopening of classes approaches, he invites teachers and professionals to come and submit their files to the human resources department of the Departmental Directorates of Education (ODE) during the period from September 16 to 30, 2024.

Let's recall that the conditions were not favorable, on June 20, 2024, the Ministry had to postpone the integration of these four new subjects in the 9th AF exams for the 2024-2025 academic year.
