iciHaïti - Back to School : Distribution of billions of Gourdes
The Government has decided to provide financial assistance to 261,000 parents in need so that they can send their children to school in 2024. The Ministry of National Education, Social Affairs and the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) have joined forces in the Multisectoral Emergency Program financed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Public Treasury.

Parents in need, students from national schools, communal schools and community schools, from the first to the 9th grade will receive aid of 20,000 Gourdes.

Interested parents, in the departments concerned, must go to the national schools to fill out forms that collect the necessary information about them and their children.

School principals are responsible for ensuring the quality of this information. This is the only way to ensure that parents can benefit from this financial support.

After assessing the reliability of the information on each parent and each student, it will then be possible to pay 20 thousand Gourdes into the parents' bank account or transfer the same amount via Natcash or Moncash.

As soon as they fill out the form, parents must specify which method they choose, in order to quickly benefit from this financial aid.
