Saturday, August 24 in the morning, jointly by the specialized units of the Haitian National Police (PNH), including the Anti-gang Tactical Unit (UTAG) and the GIPNH and SWAT Intervention Group, conducted an operation in the localities of Jasmin and Echalote (commune of Gressier).

According to our information, at least 4 members of a gang active in this region for several months were fatally injured in exchanges of fire with the Police, and two handguns were recovered

More than determined, the Haitian National Police does not intend to give up in the fight against criminal gangs. The objective is to recover all the areas occupied by armed men, in order to restore public order and peace throughout the national territory.
