iciHaiti - PAHO/WHO : Towards taking charge of the health of women in vulnerable situations
Marie Françoise Suzan, Minister of Women's Affairs and Women's Rights, met with representatives of the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO)

The objective of this meeting was to identify common points of intervention between the two institutions in the field of women's health.

This is an approach that is in line with provision 2.4.6 of the Haitian State's 2014-2034 Gender Equality Policy, which states that "collaboration frameworks should be established/strengthened in order to achieve the expected results both nationally and internationally in terms of gender equality."

With this in mind, the two institutions agreed, at the end of the meeting, to undertake concrete actions to address the health of women in vulnerable situations during this crisis, both medically and mentally.
