iciHaiti - PNH South-East : Destruction of a marijuana field

The South-East Police proceeded this week to destroy a marijuana field of about half a square of carreau (more than half a hectare) in the locality of Bois Codène, located in the communal section of Baie d'Orange, commune of Belle-Anse.

This intervention was carried out jointly by agents of the Bureau for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS), the Departmental Service of the South-East Judicial Police (SDPJ-SE) and the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO South-East).

At the time of the intervention, the suspects in this case managed to escape.

According to information available to the judicial and police authorities, this plantation is the work of Alexandre Renoir who lives in Pétion-ville.
