iciHaiti - Politic : Towards improving women's living conditions
During the inauguration of the headquarters of the Alliance of Civil Society Organizations for Peace and the Empowerment of Haitian Women (AOSCPAFH), a secular, non-partisan platform working to achieve gender parity on the political level, and the massive and substantial involvement of women in improving the social, economic and political governance of the country; Marie Françoise Suzan, Minister for Women's Affairs, renewed her unwavering support for civil society organizations. Recognizing the decisive role of these organizations in the fight for respect for women's rights and their participation at all levels.

Minister Suzan praised the enthusiasm and dedication of all the women of the Alliance and said she was ready to collaborate with this structure "This remarkable grouping of women's organizations illustrates the unwavering will of Haitian women to actively participate in building a more just, equitable and peaceful society," she emphasized.

She said that her Ministry would continue to support not only the initiatives of the Alliance, but also work jointly with all women's organizations to achieve common goals aimed at improving the living conditions of women, especially the most vulnerable.
