iciHaïti - NOTICE : Comic Strip Manuscript Competition

In order to promote the production of Comic Strips (BD) in Haiti, the National Book Directorate (DNL) is launching the first edition of the Des Aventures Dessinées (DAD) competition, a Comic Strip Manuscript Competition open to everyone.

Attractive prizes and the edition of 500 copies are intended for the first 3 winners :

1st prize : 400,000 Gourdes
2nd prize : 250,000 Gourdes
3rd prize : 150,000 Gourdes.

We will receive online applications from August 10 to September 5, 2024, at : https://forms.gle/HMW6UwqXcozCDp3B6

Full text submission date : October 5, 2024.

200 of the 500 printed works will remain at the DNL to supply the Reading and Cultural Animation Centers (CLAC) and Municipal Libraries. This is an obligation, any participant in the DAD Competition must authorize it before signing the registration form.
