iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : Towards an exemplary model of economic and social development 26/07/2024 10:33:26
The discussions focused on the establishment of a formal collaboration between the Municipality of Cap-Haïtien, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the North (CCI-Nord) and these Universities. The main objective of this collaboration is to strengthen the institutional capacities of the Municipality and the CCI-Nord, in order to promote harmonious and sustainable development of the North Department. This initiative marks the beginning of a new era of inter-institutional cooperation by 2030 and beyond. Indeed, this collaboration aims to restore a positive and dynamic image to the North Department, with a particular focus on Cap-Haïtien. The proposed Memorandum of Understanding is seen as a catalyst to mobilize the human, academic and economic resources needed to carry out this ambitious project.
