The West Departmental Directorate (DDO) is intensifying its operations in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince. After Cité Soleil, the interventions converged on Avenue Maïs Gâté, in the vicinity of the premises housing the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP), located in the commune of Tabarre.

This important road axis has found itself, since the growing climate of insecurity, in a lamentable state where enormous mounds of rubbish and rubble litter the surface of both lanes of the road.

Traffic remains a major challenge for users who use this roadway on a daily basis. To succeed in clearing a passage and facilitating accessibility, the DDO of the Ministry of Public Works is beginning an unparalleled operation on various sections in order to help the population, from various areas of the municipality, to go about their business.

The DDO is determined to implement the road map that has come to it for the well-being of the country.
