Message from Minister Joseph : "Dear Civil Servants and Employees of the Ministry of Agriculture, as part of World Civil Service Day, I would like to warmly greet all civil servants and employees working at the Central Office as well as at the level of Departmental Directorates. I wish you a Happy Feast, being aware of the difficult working conditions and the enormous efforts that must be made to improve our collective performance. Your commitment and resilience are invaluable assets to our Ministry. In these particularly difficult times, it is essential to maintain our motivation and work with redoubled efficiency, to transform challenges into opportunities. As public servants, you have the right to respect, fair treatment and adequate means for the job. We will work on it seriously. But let's not forget our duties : to serve with integrity, to be exemplary in our actions and to dedicate ourselves to the constant improvement of our services. It is therefore imperative that we combine our efforts to improve the image of the Ministry and strengthen our economic and social impact. The agricultural sector has a crucial role to play in the sustainable development of our country. Working in this sector is a true priesthood for the benefit of the rural world. Every action you take has a direct influence on the economy of farming families, on the well-being of our fellow citizens and on the future of our Nation. Your daily dedication is the key to overcoming difficulties and building a more secure future for the agricultural sector and for Haiti. I am counting on each of you to demonstrate ethics, discipline, courage, determination, innovation and perseverance.
