Wednesday June 18, 2024, Prime Minister Garry Conille, accompanied by his Ministerial Cabinet, participated in the first Council of Ministers chaired by the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), at the Welcome Villa.

The choice of Normil Rameau as new Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH) was officially validated during this Council of Ministers.

The decree appointing him was published in the official newspaper “Le Moniteur” special issue #29 of Wednesday June 19, 2024.

The installation ceremony is scheduled for Thursday June 20. Normil Rameau replaces Frantz Elbé, in post until now.
